My Mom and Dad decided my name would be Randy Kremlacek. Little did they know that Randy translates in Español"to cachondo (horny).

In 2019, I sold my business in San Francisco, retired, and my wife and I moved to Mexico, specifically to San Miguel de Allende.

I began exploring my new country by hiking, motorcycling, and attending cultural events, many of which took place in the campo (countryside).

I wrote notes and took photos of my experiences. I posted them on Facebook, and some think I should write a book. I don’t know about that, but I have come to realize that much of the San Miguel landscape, people and cultures of the campo today are undocumented or at least unpublished.

I wish to share what I’ve seen, heard and learned along the way in my explorations of Mexico. I hope you enjoy it.
